During this Organizers Roundtable, two OEA locals will highlight their efforts to engage the community and their District to meet the needs of the students they serve during this unprecedented time.

• Brenda Lemon, President, Logan Education Association
  Logan Education Association wasted little time, starting even before school ended, deciding to lead efforts to engage the community of the Logan-Hocking School District to come up with plans to educate the children in Logan County during a pandemic.
• Sarah Amin and Kate Lohmey, Co-Presidents, Yellow Springs Education Association
  Yellow Springs Education Association wanted to work with the community to address equity problems, helping to establish a remote learning center/daycare, in conjunction with a Community Foundation to meet the needs of working parents.
