Acronyms and abbreviations are not just for texting. Long before cellphones and twitter, professional jargon has made communicating faster, but also more difficult for the uninitiated. Education, like all professions, has a specialized vocabulary. To help you wade through the alphabet soup, OEA’s Collective Bargaining Department has compiled a list of frequently used education-related acronyms and abbreviations.
