Hello OSEA,

I am Marissa Sims and I am the chairperson for 2010-2011. My hope is to be a great leader for you all. I am currently a junior at Central State University majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have a deep passion for education and changing the lives of children for a better tomorrow and I hope we can all share in that passion as a team. I participate in the activities of our campus’ local education chapter and I represent you on the OEA Board of Directors and Western Ohio Education Association (WOEA). I am greatly excited and looking forward to working with everyone this year.

I am optimistic about the great things we can do this year. I hope to involve more chapters across the state and to open more chapters. Feel free to share your creative ideas so that we may do our best to make things happen as a team.
